Looking to make new friends whilst relaxing on a bank holiday afternoon? 🌆 Join us for our newest event - Card Game Afternoon —a cosy and relaxed evening perfect for newcomers to the York Social Group!
Whether you're new to York or a local eager to expand your social circle, this event is aimed primarily at people in their 20s and 30s and offers a welcoming atmosphere to connect with like-minded individuals.
🍔 What to Expect:
- Delicious drinks and card games at Victor J's - We'll be heading to Victor J's, a lovely little pub in the centre of York. Victor J's has a selection of board and card games ready to go. If it's really busy, there's loads of pubs around we can head to instead.
- Card games - We'll be focusing on playing fun, easy to learn and easy to play card games; so there'll be something for everyone - but please do bring your own games with you!
- Coming alone? No problem! Depending on numbers, we'll split into different teams so you'll be able to meet new people whilst engaging in some friendly competition!
🤗 New to the Group? No Worries!
Many of our members attend solo and are newcomers to the city or the group. Our friendly hosts will make sure you feel right at home and help you connect with others.
