York Dining Out Group

For nearly 19 years, YDOG has held meetups at York non-chain eateries with occasional ventures outside of York County or at a chain restaurant. Sometimes we pair with an activity of minimal to moderate planning and coordination.

In 9/2025, two hosts branched out to form new groups that often surpass all of those bounds. York & Beyond: Dining + Experiences and Southern York Social Group actively extend to give you members more opportunity to experience the tremendous variety of activities in this area with others. Check those groups out too.

Set as a Private Group for safety considerations, all are welcome. Most are single. Some are new to the area, seeking to learn what’s going on. While friendships develop, it is important to note that this group is not inclined as a dating group. Other MeetUp groups may exist for that. We request a face photo on profiles for locating each other at gatherings.

MeetUp charges the Organizer for having a group on their platform. We do not use the Dues system on MeetUp to recoup the $318 annual cost. If you appreciate attending our humble meetups, small donations are encouraged. This is a non-profit group and the ledger for my term as the fifth Organizer is transparent.
