SUMMER - NON LEAGUE - $120 ANNUAL TAG TEAM

YRPL Annual TAG Team Event

Important - When you register, please answer the question where it asks you who your partner is. ONLY ONE PERSON PER TEAM NEEDS TO REGISTER.

** We will not accept one person teams **

This is a non-league, standalone event.

Open to anyone age 19 and over. Limited to the first 30 teams (2 players per team - maximum of 60 players). Late registration is available for the first two hours of play. A player can not start the game without their partner at the venue.

Cost is $120 entry per person ($240 per team). This is made up of a $100 entry (all to the prize pool) and $20.00 ito help with the costs.

Re-entry (one per player for first 6 levels) is $120 for a full stack ($20 go to costs)

Game structure

• 10 handed tables - if maxed out
• Each player will start with 15,000 chips (meaning each team will effectively start with 30,000)
• Teams will be split into separate halves of the venue with each team member playing a 15,000 stack independently. Balancing of tables will be independent on each side of the venue.
• For the first 2-hours (6 levels) each player will play independently of his team partner. One re-entry is allowed per player at a cost of $100 for a fresh 15,000 stack
• Anyone that has not rebought already can surrendor their chips at the end of the 6 levels.
• Play resumes after the dinner break with each team combining their stacks. At this point, they must choose a player to start the play and thereon they must switch players on every blind level increase. There will be a random seat draw at this stage.
• Every team will also have a "one use switch chip" which they can use to make an impromptu change at any time. The option does not have to be used if not needed.
• Only one player per hand - there is no conferring with your partner during a hand whatsoever until the final table (see below)
• At the final table, each team will be given 2 TIMEOUTS enabling them to stop play for 1 minute to discuss a decision with their partner mid hand. While the timeouts are used, the tournament clock will be paused.
• Blind structure the same as regular YRPL league game and will utilize a Big Blind Ante

Tournament Start: 7:00 p.m sharp. Registration at 6:30 pm please be early.

Cost: $120 per player ($240 per team)

Starting Stack: 15,000 in Tournament Chips each player

Re-entry: $120 per player for 15,000 in chips, limited to one per player (2 per team) during the first 120 minutes of play. You must be bust (zero chips) to make a re-entry. You may be given a different seat based on availability.

Surrender Option, at the end of the first six levels of play 120 minutes and before play resumes after the dinner break, a player with a short stack may surrender their short stack (assuming they have not already re-entered) and will be given a fresh 15,000 stack at a cost of $120

Late Entry and Alternates: Entry as above, for a full starting stack, during the first 120 minutes of play.

Prize Pool: Top 5 teams will be paid out.

Nightly High Hand: No HIgh Hand for this tournament

Tournament Rules: YRPL House Rules are based on TDA rules. All decisions by Tournament Director are final.
