NEW WALK !! A three village tour on the edge of the Wolds. Our start point is Harpham, situated minutes from the A614 between Driffield & Bridlington.

The terrain is gently undulating with extensive views. A lot of the walk is across fields so bear in mind the time of year! There are sections along quiet roads/pavements and our route includes a little detour to take in the attractions of Burton Agnes, namely the village pond, St Martins Church approached through a tunnel of 300 year old yews and we pass by the Hall itself.

Meeting point: From the A614, just past the Bracey Bridge picnic site (lay-by hidden by trees), take a right turn at the crossroads sp Harpham. Follow the road until reaching the pub called St Quintin Arms and we will meet outside here (see photo). We have permission to use the car park on the understanding you come into the pub afterwards otherwise roadside parking is available on various streets. Please park considerately as some sections of the village streets are narrow. The pub postcode is YO25 4QY.

Car sharing is recommended for this walk in order to reduce our impact on this small village.

The walk will be led at a steady pace: not too fast, not too slow. Please be ready to start walking at the advertised time.

Walk fee: £3. No dogs please. Bring packed lunch/drink/snacks with you.

After-walk refreshment at Harpham’s 'local'.

I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any walk, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
