Millington's Dales - 8 miles

A walk in the Wolds ! The Wolds is like a mini-Yorkshire Dales, the ascents & descents aren’t so dramatic but you will need to be comfortable with both for this walk. There is one short steep climb and one fairly steep descent in particular.

The terrain comprises farm tracks, roadside walking and field paths as well as a number of Dales we either walk through, down or up!

The walk will be led at a steady pace: not too fast, not too slow. Please be ready to start walking at the advertised time.

Walk fee: £3. No dogs please. Bring packed lunch/drink/snacks with you.

Meeting point: car parking area opposite. St. Margaret’s Church. No postcode for the church but the pub postcode is YO42 1TX.
Drive past the Gait Inn on your lhs and turn left up Church Lane.

Car sharing highly recommended for this walk.

After-walk refreshment: the Ramblers Rest, a rustic tearoom.

Note: mobile reception is dodgy in the area.
