Saturday Stroll from Fairburn

A Saturday walk for us Strollers led by Louise Topham
5 mile circular walk from Fairburn village, down Fairburn Ings, along the river Aire to the RSPB Nature reserve, then onto the lovely village of Ledsham, before returning to Fairburn.
We can stop at the RSPB visitors centre, where there are free toilets.

Then maybe stop at Chequers Inn at Ledsham for a drink, before heading back to Fairburn.
All woodland paths / fields. Some stiles to negotiate. No road walking. Maybe sheep in fields.
Meet at the horse trough (local landmark), 2 cut road, Fairburn WF11 9JF
