Kirkby Overblow - 4 miles

Details
A walk not led for two years. An evening ramble predominantly across fields so if its been raining, it could be muddy in places. Quite a few stiles to clamber over. Its generally an undulating walk although a few little climbs as well. Some nice views of Wharfe Valley, Crimple Valley & Almscliffe Crag.
The walk will be led at a steady pace: not too fast, not too slow. Please be ready to start walking at the advertised time.
Walk fee : £2. No dogs please.
Start point: roadside parking near the Shoulder of Mutton pub. Postcode is HG3 1HD. Car sharing highly recommended to mitigate any potential issues with parking on the village streets. Kirkby Overblow is accessed via the A658 or A61, or from Wetherby on the Sicklinghall road.
The walk is just long enough to build up a thirst for an after-walk drink at the village pub!!
I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any walk, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
