An (Alcoholic) Tour of York Landmarks - a few 'staggered' miles!!

Join me on a walk around some of York’s finest establishments and learn some interesting facts along the way. The tour will be completed with the option of consuming some much-needed grub to soak up all those drinks!

This is an opportunity to combine Academia with Alcohol on a Magical Mystery Tour around York!

Our meeting point (to be advised just before Event Day) will be at midday and our itinerary will include visits to seven venues (each one revealed as we arrive there), the final stop being our food venue.

So, six pubs in 5.5 hours including associated narration and food to follow at approx. 5.30pm.

Understandably places will be limited for such an event and, with the likely popularity of this event, please take note of the following before you RSVP.
1. Attendees should have attended at least one walk this year.
2. Attendees will have paid the annual membership fee prior to the event.
3. Please consider whether you are actually available to attend.
4. Attendees should arrive in time to meet us at our first venue (close to transport links) between 12noon (the start of the event) and 1pm (when we will head off to the next venue).
5. No guests are permitted on this event.

Please do not RSVP for the event if you are unable to be with us for the majority of it as this would be unfair to those who miss out due to the limited places available.

Relevant details will be e-mailed to the attendees a couple of days before the event so please ensure your e-mail settings within your Meet-Up profile are set up correctly in order to receive both notifications and e-mails from myself.

I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any walk, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
