Calverley Arms Circular (Leeds) - 4.5 miles

Details
A walk normally led on an evening but a run-out on a weekday morning last year proved to be popular! A pleasant walk through attractive woodland before we drop down onto the canal towpath for an easy saunter back to the Calverley Arms, which has both a terrace and the biggest beer garden I know of!
Calverley is situated just off the Leeds outer ring road, between Horsforth and Pudsey to the west/north-west of Leeds. We have permission to use the far side of the car park. When you drive through the entrance, drive past the front of the pub and then an immediate left to go down the side of the pub. Head for the far end and we will meet at this point.
The postcode of the pub is LS28 5QQ.
The walk will be led at a steady pace: not too fast, not too slow. Please be ready to start walking at the advertised time. I don't propose having a morning break on this walk unless I get outvoted!
Walk fee: £2. No dogs please.
I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any event, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
