Leeds Pub Crawl: The Cradle of Industry + Meal

Join me on a walk around a variety of Leeds watering holes and learn some interesting facts along the way. As well as your personal tour guide, an early evening meal is included in this event.

This is an opportunity to combine Academia with Alcohol on a Magical Mystery Tour!!

Our third pub crawl sees us pay a return visit to Leeds with a different route being undertaken.

Our convenient meeting point (to be advised just before Event Day) will be at midday and the itinerary includes visits to four other venues with each one only being revealed as we arrive.

A meal has been booked for 5.30pm. Unless I’m advised otherwise, I will assume that everyone on the pub tour also wishes to stay for the meal afterwards.

Understandably places will be limited for such an event and, with the likely popularity of this event, please take note of the following before you RSVP.
1. Attendees should have attended at least one walk this year.
2. Attendees will have paid their annual membership fee prior to the event.
3. Please consider whether you are actually available to attend.
4. Attendees should arrive in time to meet us at the first venue between 12noon (the start of the event) and 1pm (when we will head off to the next venue).
5. No guests are permitted on this event.

Further details of our itinerary will be e-mailed to the attendees a couple of days before the event so please ensure your e-mail settings within your Meet-Up profile are set up correctly to receive both notifications and e-mails/messages from myself.

Please do not RSVP for this event if you are not in a position to attend the majority of it as this would be unfair to those who could potentially miss out due to the limited places. If you are unable to get to the first venue before we are due to depart, best to let someone else have your place.

Event fee: £3.

I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for a walk or other event, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
