Bramham Park - 6.5 miles

An undemanding route, plenty of good, solid paths & tracks through parkland but there are sections of woodland walking & field paths as well. One short ascent up a road and a few stepping stones to cross on a narrow stream. No stiles!

Bramham is situated close to the A1, A64 & Wetherby/Boston Spa areas. Postcode is LS23 6RD.

Roadside parking on various streets, we will meet by the war memorial in the centre of the village (see photo). Given the likelihood of high numbers for this walk, the more people that car share, the closer you’ll be able to park to our start point!

The walk will be led at a steady pace: not too fast, not too slow. Please be ready to start walking at the advertised time.

Walk fee: £3. No dogs please. Bring snacks/drink for a short morning break.

After-walk refreshment: The Albion, Chapel Lane, Clifford, LS23 6HU. From our meeting point, take first right into Clifford Road which will take you into the centre of Clifford village, going down a narrow road (High Street) where you take the second left alongside the church. Approx 1.5 miles.

I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any walk, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
