York City Walls Pub Tour - 2.4 miles

Join me on this event that combines a walk around the City Walls with a Pub Crawl, learning some interesting facts along the way. We will have a café stop en route and an early evening meal has also been booked as part of the event.
Our meeting point (to be advised just before Event Day) will be at midday and our itinerary will include visits to four traditional pubs (each one revealed as we arrive there) followed by some much-needed grub to soak up the beer, lager, wine….at a fifth trad. pub! The meal has been booked for 6pm.
Pre-orders for the meal will be required and the menu will be e-mailed to attendees at some point during March.
Understandably places will be limited for such an event and, given the popularity of previous pub crawls, the following eligibility criteria will apply:
Attendees will be limited to Group members who have paid their annual membership fee so no guests permitted.
Further details of our itinerary will be e-mailed to attendees a couple of days before the event so please ensure your e-mail settings within your Meet-Up profile are set up correctly to receive both notifications and e-mails from myself.
Please do not RSVP for this event if you are not in a position to attend the majority of it as this would be unfair to those who could potentially miss out due to limited places.
Event fee: £2.
Please note: the café en route only accepts card payments. The café has been pre-booked so they will be expecting us!
I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any event, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the Event Organiser and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead as we will be ascending/descending the Walls at various points as well as a few items of interest being pointed out en route!
