Christmas Event: Barking George/Harrogate Inn

A new venue in a new town for the first of our two Christmas events this year!

No pre-meal walk so you can don your festive garb from the outset!

Meet in the back bar for drinks/natter from 12.30 with the meal being served at 1pm.

Venue
Barking George/Harrogate Inn, I Ripon Road, Harrogate, HG1 2SY.
The venue is part of the Inn Collection Group so accomodation is available if you wish to consider staying overnight.
The venue has a small car park on a first come, first served basis (down the narrow road to the rear of the hotel). There are also parking spaces on the street in front of the venue, some of which can only be paid for using your phone. Some of this is limited time parking (three hours for £6.10) but where applicable, the current fee for a longer stay is £7.50.

Event Eligibility
This event is open to any Group member who has paid their annual membership fee so no guests permitted. Also, I’m not charging a fee for organising this event.

RSVPs/Deposit payment deadlines
You have until August 31st to RSVP, in order to be considered for the initial allocation of places.
Deposit payments will be £10 per person payable by September 15th.

If the event becomes over-subscribed, places will be awarded based on the number of walks attended this year, also taking into account how many walks new members have attended during the time they have been in the Group.

You are welcome to RSVP for both Christmas events but I will endeavour to ensure that as many different people as possible can attend at least one of the events.

PLEASE NOTE: When you RSVP, you will initially be diverted to a Waiting List pending allocation of the available places. Therefore, up until the August deadline, the event will say ‘full’ even though no places will have been allocated.

The Meal
We have been allocated an area in the dining room. As you enter from the main entrance, head through the bar and off to your left at the rear of the bar, to enter the dining room, which has its own bar.

Once places have been allocated & deposits taken, pre-orders will be collected. Two courses will cost £26.95 and three courses will cost £29.95.
Dietary requirements catered for.

Seating plans
Once you have been allocated a place, please feel free to message me with requests as to who you would like to sit with.

Cancellations
Once your deposit has been sent to the venue, you can only expect a refund if there is a waiting list and someone can take your place.

Final balance payments/Drink purchases
Aside from deposit payments, the remainder of your bill should be settled on the day on an individual basis.
Please order/pay for your drinks on an on-going basis. The bar is just a few feet away from our tables!
