YOU CAN SELL - Practise your Sales skills

We're all constantly selling something to someone, aren't we?

To our clients, we are selling to our team to get them on board, we are selling to our spouses to get them to do what we want .... So this meetup is your opportunity to practice your sales skills.

It's time to re-open your Selling Technique manuals, or view once again those Sales Gurus on Youtube ( https://youtu.be/vZa29V2L-U4 ).

The meetup is open to all people interested in Sales Techniques, and improving their Sales skills through Practice, Practice, Practice...

The idea is to organize short role-plays (5 min), where you will be the seller and an other participant the buyer. The rest of the group then gives a feedback on what the Seller could improve in his Selling Technique, Body Language, etc...

Complete agenda:

• 5 mins introduction of everyone,

• 15 mins walk-through of selected Sales techniques

• 10 mins example Sales pitch to be reviewed by everyone

• 90 mins practise session in groups of 5-6 where everyone gets to pitch once

• networking opportunity after the event

Before you register to the meetup, do your homework and prepare your pitch. Please go through our Rules (https://www.meetup.com/You-Can-Sell/pages/Rules__and_Code_of_Conduct/), so that you come prepared.

The aim will be to explore the following topics :

• The importance of body-language, and what is the correct body language in a selling situation

• The importance of asking the right questions

• How to apply the most effective selling techniques

• How to emotionally involve the buyer

• Prospecting / Phone Calling techniques

• How to deal with objections

• How to Close efficiently

• How to handle rejection and failure

• What are the best resources (books, videos, trainings,...) to get an even better Sales person

It's a community event to help each other in our self-development. I'm charging 1 USD as an experiment to reduce the amount of people who sign up, but do not show up. If you face any issues with this - whatsoever - please contact Dirk (the organiser) directly and we find a solution.
