You're invited to join us for a coaching-based event focused on building self-awareness, strengthening self-regulation, and developing improved "I'll do better next time" language.

When was the last time you walked away from a conversation thinking,
“Why did I say that?”
“Why did it come out that way?”
"I can't believe I just said that out loud."
“Why can't I keep my mouth shut??”

Having ADHD means you’ve likely had your share of impulsive moments. It’s part of the ADHD fun, right? If only that were true.

In reality, those ADHD slips-of-the-tongue usually aren't funny at all. At work, they can hamper our careers. At home, they cause tension and arguments. They can severely derail our friendships and dating prospects.

No matter where and when we blurt something out seemingly without thinking, it can leave things feeling awkward, embarrassing, or hard to repair afterward. This session exists for those moments.

Laughing at ourselves, spiraling into self-blame, or pretending it didn’t matter isn't helpful. What helps is to slow down, look at what actually happened, and practice what to do so we can handle things better next time.

✅ What this space is for:
This is a coaching-based meetup for ADHD adults who want to:

  • Increase self-awareness in impulsive moments.
  • Catch negative self-talk sooner and replace it with more useful language.
  • Learn how to repair after a misstep instead of ruminating on it.
  • Build better self-regulation and self-monitoring over time.
  • Stories may be shared, but the focus is always forward-looking.

❌ What this space DEFINITELY is not:

  • A venting or complaining session
  • A roast, cringe contest, or trauma-dumping space
  • Group therapy or crisis support
  • A place for advice-giving or fixing each other

If you’re looking for a place to be validated without being challenged, this may not be the right fit.

How the session works:

  • This is a facilitated, lightly structured session to keep things safe and productive.
  • One person shares at a time.
  • Stories are time-limited so we can focus on reflection and learning.
  • Cross-talk and advice-giving are minimized.
  • You’re always welcome to listen without sharing.

You’ll likely get the most value from this session if you:

  • Are curious about your patterns, not just frustrated by them.
  • Want to strengthen how you handle missteps in real relationships.
  • Are open to being gently interrupted around language and self-talk.
  • Believe ADHD explains behavior, but doesn’t excuse impact.

If you're ready to do some meaningful work towards improving your relationship with yourself and others, you'll be right at home!
