About us

~ A meditative, prayer-based gospel study for young adults 18-30. ~

We begin and close in sung and spoken prayers, and we also practice a contemplative reading of the gospel after which we chant (sing) some of the verses. Following is a commentary reading and discussion.

A main focus is upon the power of Christ the Divine Healer Who pursues each of us within our brokenness— just as we are!

Just as Thomas worshiped the Resurrected Jesus after he put his hands in Jesus' wounds, so also do we cry out "my Lord and my God" when all of our doubt, grief, sorrows, and wounds encounter and are touched by the pierced Sacred Heart of the Good Shepherd Who ceaselessly calls us to His pasture of Eternal Love.

Meetings are held bi-weekly on Thursdays at St Giles church parish center in Oak Park at 6:30pm.
