About us

Young Adults Miles Group is a casual run club social group for young adults in Orlando who want to meet new people through runs, jogs, walks, and active hangouts.

No running experience is needed. I’m not an experienced runner myself, so this group is meant to be beginner-friendly, low-pressure, and social. This group may host some events, while others may be third-party-run clubs that we attend together.

Come as you are, move at your own pace, and meet friendly people along the way.

Rules

### 1. Must Be in Your 20s or 30s

This group is intended for young adults in their 20s and 30s only. Please respect the age focus of the group so members can meet people in a similar stage of life.

### 2. Be Respectful and Welcoming

Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Rude behavior, bullying, harassment, discrimination, or making others feel uncomfortable will not be tolerated.

### 3. All Paces Are Welcome

This group is beginner-friendly. Whether you run, jog, walk, or are just getting started, you are welcome. Please do not pressure others to go faster or compare fitness levels.

### 4. Show Up If You RSVP

If you RSVP “yes,” please do your best to attend. If your plans change, update your RSVP so the organizer and other members know who to expect.

### 5. Respect Third-Party Run Clubs and Venues

Some events may be hosted by outside run clubs, businesses, or community groups. Please follow their rules, respect their organizers, and remember that we are attending as guests.

### 6. Stay Safe

Run, walk, and participate at your own pace and comfort level. Bring water, wear appropriate shoes, be aware of your surroundings, and follow traffic and pedestrian safety rules.

### 7. Keep It Social, Not Salesy

This group is for making friends and building community. Please do not use the group to spam, recruit, sell products, promote unrelated events, or repeatedly message members for business purposes.

### 8. No Inappropriate Behavior

Unwanted flirting, aggressive behavior, excessive messaging, or making someone feel unsafe is not okay. Respect personal boundaries at all times.

### 9. Members May Suggest Events

Members are welcome to suggest run clubs, walks, jogs, or active social events at different times and locations. Events should be casual, beginner-friendly, respectful, and aligned with the purpose of the group.

### 10. Have a Good Attitude

You do not need to be an experienced runner to join. Just come with a positive attitude, be open to meeting new people, and help keep the group friendly and fun.
