What we’re about
The group is primarily designed for young adults in their 20s and early 30s who recently moved to Portland or who just want to start meeting new people. THOUGH PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ARE WELCOME.
The goal is to have a variety of events- from hangouts at beer gardens, to bowling to scenic walks and more. This group is geared for everyone from outgoing social butterflies to quieter introverts and everyone in between. The only thing most of us generally have in common is that we are young adults relatively new to Portland (though you don't have to be either) which means a lot of us are in the same position of wanting to meet others and explore our new home!
A few things to note:

To the extent possible, events will be close to a MAX, streetcar, or bus route. The ease of available parking is also taken into consideration.

There will not be a charge for ATTENDING events.

We sometimes don't know where within a venue we will be until right before the event starts. However, I always make updates in the event chat and/or the discussion board with very specific details on our location.

None of the events revolve around drinking. While there is almost always a bar around, we generally gather around large tables or lounge areas where some people order drinks, some order food and others just hangout.
