Hope, Despair, & Existentialism Discussion

Greetings! On Saturday, August 23 from 9:30am to 11:30am, the Young Artists Writers and Philosophers of Wheaton will be gathering to hang out, share tea, and discuss philosophy! We’ll begin our time with a get-to-know-you question, then transition to this week's topic: Hope, Despair, & Existentialism! How should we respond to existential crises? Is there a healthy balance between optimism and cynicism? What might the existentialist philosophers have to teach us about hope? Come prepared to share your ideas and to learn from others! Participants can stay and participate as long and as much as they feel comfortable. We hope to see you there! :)
