Inspired by Pankaj Mishra's framing in "The World After Gaza," our first dialogue shifts the focus inward. We move from the geopolitical to the personal, asking: What is Your World After Gaza?
This event is a space for young Muslims in Hamburg to engage in a structured, intellectual discussion on how witnessing these events reshapes our individual perspectives, convictions, and roles in society.
Our Discussion Focus:

  • Personal Impact: How have you processed the events? How have they influenced your worldview, your faith, or your sense of agency?
  • Intellectual Response: Beyond the immediate emotional reaction, how has your analysis of global power structures, media narratives, or international institutions changed?
  • Looking Forward: How does this altered perspective inform your path forward—personally, professionally, or as a member of the global community?

Format & Tone:
We will anchor our conversation in critical thinking and mutual respect. The goal is understanding, not debate; reflection, not rhetoric. We will briefly examine the role of international systems to ground our personal reflections in a broader context, maintaining the formal and intellectual character that defines our group.
