YNP Language Lounge: Igbo Edition

Join YNP Connect for the next edition of our Language Lounge, this time we are exploring the Igbo language and culture in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

The YNP Language Lounge is designed as an interactive space where Nigerian professionals and friends can learn, practice, and reconnect with Nigerian languages, no pressure, just participation.

Whether you’re a beginner, looking to refresh what you already know, or simply curious about Igbo, you are welcome.

What to expect:
• Introduction to common Igbo words and phrases
• Guided conversation and pronunciation practice
• Interactive activities and group participation
• A relaxed, social atmosphere to connect with others

This session, hosted by Cheta Igbo, is beginner-friendly and focused on helping you feel comfortable engaging with the language in a fun and supportive setting.

No prior fluency is required.

Many of us grew up hearing our native languages but didn’t always have the space to practice them confidently. This lounge is about creating that space together.
