Luds Church and the Roaches Walk🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️ - Nottingham Young Professionals

## Join us for a refreshing walk around Luds Church and the Roaches Walk followed maybe with some Drinks. Finish the week with a step count that you can be proud of 👣💪 and get yourself a therapeutic dose of nature 🌞🏞️ with good company and drinks!

Plan for the day:
9:45 - Meet outside Roachside cottage, Roach Rd, Leek ST13 8UA

10:00 - Start walk (walk up to it Hen cloud, then back track and start the route, we would pass through The Roaches and continue to Lud's Church.)
15:00 - Finish walk and go for tea/coffee/chit-chat (Optional)
16:00 - Start heading back

Walk is around 8 miles and should take around 5hrs as we are doing it as a group and depending on our pace. We aim to start the walk at 10:00 promptly so please try to be there on time. This hike is for people who are generally fit. Please make sure you can walk the distance stated above.

If you are running late, join our whatsapp group Hiking Group to see where we are and join us later if you can. Limiting this event to 25 so we can manage the walk, please only get a ticket if you can make it and get your ticket early.

Things to wear/take depending on weather. PLEASE check the weather before setting off.:
• Have waterproof clothing just in case.
• Have a few thin layers of clothes to regulate temperature. A jumper. Potentially a coat.
• Hiking shoes or ankle support shoes.
• Take plenty of water, please take some snacks/food we don't want anyone faiting.

This hike will only be accessible via cars or vans, so we ask you if you drive to offer up seats to transport.
Regarding the parking from memory, it was free. We would have to get there relatively early as parking is limited.
