My career journey in Developer Relations -- An unconventional career path

In this talk, we will be joined by Anaïs Urlichs who will be talking about her incredible journey into Developer Relations.

15 years ago the role cloud computing specialist and related occupations did not exist. 10 years ago, the role Developer Advocate did not exist. Today, my title is open source Developer Advocate for a company that is focused on providing security solutions for cloud infrastructure and workloads. Similarly, if you are graduating from University Today, you will likely not know which technologies you will specialize in 5 years from now. So how can you best prepare yourself for these ever-changing workplaces?

In this talk, I will share my journey from dropping out of University, starting an online Degree in Computer Science while building my career as Developer Advocate. I will share with you the skills that helped me along the way, what I wished I would have known before learning it the hard way and much much more. We will also keep lots of time for Q&A.
