Young DevOps is Back for our Second event of the year!

In this event, we will be joined by Ben Pearce, the founder of Elevated You, and Whitney Lee, a CNCF Ambassador and Developer Advocate at Broadcom.

Session 1 Bio: Ben Pearce is a coach, keynote speaker, podcast host and founder of Elevated You. He spent 20 years at Microsoft, 10 years as a deep technical engineer and 10 years leading high performing teams. He's a regular voice in the community and focuses on developing the Human Skills of people in Tech World.

Session 1 Title: Using Technical Storytelling To Influence Your Stakeholders

Session 1 Description: Drive action and change the piece of the world that matters to you. In the tech world we sometimes need to tell deep tech stories, we sometimes need to tell high level business outcome stories, but we always need to tell engaging stories.

Leading the transformation of technology, process and culture starts with energising and inspiring your stakeholders to take action. In this session we'll cover how to build relevant, compelling and emotionally engaging content that sparks action from your message. Learn how to make the complex simple, influence stakeholders and lead the charge for change in the DevOps world.

Session 2 Bio: Whitney is a lovable goofball and a CNCF Ambassador who enjoys understanding and using tools in the cloud native landscape. Creative and driven, Whitney recently pivoted from an art-related career to one in tech. You can catch her lightboard streaming show ⚡️ Enlightning on Tanzu.TV, and she also co-hosts the streaming show You Choose! - a 'Choose-Your-Own-Adventure'-style journey through the CNCF landscape alongside Viktor Farcic.

Session 2 Description: This will be a casual chat about Whitney's wild career journey and her current role as a developer advocate at VMware (now Broadcom).
