Lean Manufacturing and ZED Implementation

Program Context
To become an MNC, aspiring MSMEs need to improve their products, processes, and people according to world-class manufacturing practices. This session will provide a roadmap for implementing global best practices in MSMEs.
To support MSMEs, the Government of India has launched two schemes; "Lean Manufacturing" and "Zero Defect Zero Effect". Structured models of Lean and ZED have been developed to facilitate the implementation by MSMEs.
Speaker Profile
Akhilesh N Singh is a management consultant associated with industry for the last 50 years. Currently he is Principal Consultant at Lean Solutions, associated with the development, promotion, training, auditing, and implementation of Lean & ZED in various MSMEs. He has facilitated and mentored the learning and implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, ZED and TQM in more than 350 organizations in India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE. He has also authored 16 books including 3 practical books on Lean Manufacturing & ZED, targeted especially for MSMEs.
Mr. Singh is a B.Tech from IIT-BHU with diplomas in Business Management & Japanese Management. He has trained on Lean, Six Sigma & TQM in Japan, UK & USA. He has worked in SAIL, Jindal Stainless, FICCI & UNIDO.
