Young wives society

For young wives in their 20s and 30s. A new, Austin based group for those that are lovers of the feminine arts, of exploration, and of learning.

We will rotate hosting and help each other shape the events. Each woman may introduce any craft, activity, recipe, outing, or creative idea she’s excited about; whether it’s something new she wants to try or something she has loved for years. Some may enjoy hosting often, some not at all; some may want to participate in planning and structure, while others prefer simply to show up and take part.

Curiosity is enough; expertise is optional. Let’s learn, create, and share together.

This is an environment that welcomes your ideas, your enthusiasm for life, and your desire for peace, focus, and beauty. You can be energetic or calm, chaotic or orderly, wild or serene - what matters is genuine interest. Women who care deeply about anything are always interesting.

We may explore a wide range of activities, such as:

• Pottery and miniature painting
• Book clubs and in-depth annotation sessions
• Text or character analysis
• Seasonal projects (ornaments, decorations, gifts, baked goods)
• Sewing and knitting
• Crafting and DIY projects
• Woodworking
• Flower arranging
• Gardening, herbs, and plants
• Cooking and baking
• Board games, puzzles, and charades
• Hikes, outdoor sports, or small adventures, (kayaking, climbing, tennis, horseback riding)
• Presentations of what interests us

The atmosphere is low-pressure, supportive, feminine, and youthful.
