Ready to escape the Seoul heat? For our very first YSA trip, we are heading to the stunning Geumgangsan Sinsundae!
Sinsundae offers one of the most jaw-dropping panoramic views in Korea, where you can see the East Sea, the majestic Ulsanbawi rock of Seoraksan, and Sokcho city all at once.
No need to worry about complicated transfers, driving, or getting lost. We’ve got the private bus covered from central Seoul straight to the mountain—just bring your energy! 🚐💨
⛰️ Hike Details

• Distance: Approx. 5.5km loop
• Time: Around 3.5 hours
• Difficulty: Moderate (Some steep parts, but absolutely worth the view!)
• Route: Hwaamsa Temple Parking Lot -> Subawi -> Sinsundae -> Forest Healing Trail -> Parking Lot

⏰ Itinerary (Please be on time!)

• 06:00 AM - Pick up: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Exit 11)
• 09:30 AM - Arrive at Hwaamsa Temple Parking Lot & Start hiking!
• 01:00 PM - Finish hike & Free time for lunch/drinks near the mountain
• 03:00 PM - Meet back at the bus & Depart for Seoul
• 06:30 PM - Drop off: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Exit 11)

🎒 What to Bring

• Comfortable hiking shoes & clothes
• Trail snacks (Chocolate, energy bars, etc.) and plenty of water
• Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses

💸 Cost & RSVP Policy

• Cost: $30 USD (or 45,000 KRW) in CASH on the day of the trip. (This covers the round-trip premium private bus!). Minimum Pax: This bus will ONLY depart if we reach a minimum of 15 people. If we don't reach the minimum 3 days before departure, the event will be canceled and fully refunded.
