Looking for a beautiful mountain escape from Seoul? Join us for a hike to Garisan, a scenic mountain in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, known for its rocky summit, deep forest, and wide panoramic views.
If you want to get out of the city, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a full day in nature without worrying about complicated transfers, this trip is for you. We’ve got the private bus covered from central Seoul straight to the trailhead — just bring your hiking spirit! 🚐⛰️

### ⛰️ Hike Details

• Distance: Approx. 7.2 km loop
• Time: Around 4–4.5 hours
• Difficulty: Moderate+
• Route: Garisan Natural Recreation Forest Parking Lot → Hapsugok → Gasap Pass → Garisan Summit (1,051m) → Musoemaljae → Hapsugok → Parking Lot

### ⏰ Itinerary (Please be on time!)

• 06:30 AM – Pick-up: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Exit 11)
• 09:00 AM – Arrive at Garisan Natural Recreation Forest & start hiking
• 01:30 PM – Finish hike & free time for lunch / drinks
• 03:00 PM – Meet back at the bus & depart for Seoul
• 05:30–06:00 PM – Drop-off: Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Exit 11)

### 🎒 What to Bring

• Comfortable hiking shoes & clothes
• Trail snacks and plenty of water
• A light jacket or extra layer
• Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses

### 💸 Cost & Booking Policy

• Price: 65,000 KRW($ 50) per person
• Payment: Please pay 65,000 KRW($50) in cash on the day of the trip.
• Included: Round-trip private bus + Garisan entrance fee
• RSVP: Please RSVP only if you are seriously planning to join. If your plans change, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so another member can take your spot.
• Cancellation: If the trip is canceled by YSA, no payment will be collected.
• Trip Confirmation: We will confirm whether the trip will operate once the minimum group size is reached. If we do not reach 12 participants, the trip may be canceled.
