De Gaulle: Tilting Iron, is the first film in a two-part sweeping historical saga and geopolitical thriller that plunges audiences into the decisive hours of World War II through the eyes of General Charles de Gaulle and the men and women who refused to surrender as the French nation fell. As part of the international cast, Charles de Gaulle is played by Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale) and Winston Churchill by award-winning actor Simon Russell Beale (The Death of Stalin), featuring Mathieu Kassovitz (Amélie, The Bureau) and Benoît Magimel (The Piano Teacher). The film is mostly in French with English subtitles.
