Join us for an evening of ideas, innovation, and inspiration at the intersection of civic tech and public service.
Sam Burton will kick off the evening by sharing new research from the Government of Canada’s Canadian Digital Service on how civic tech can help improve government service delivery. Then, we’ll hear from Claudie Larouche, a passionate builder of community tools, who will share how she uses technology to make everyday life easier for parents and families in Ottawa. We’ll round it out with Parth Shah’s presentation of Canadian Shield, CIRA’s free, public DNS resolver for family protection at home.

- Paid underground parking is available at Lansdowne TD Place – $4 normal hourly rate, higher for special event days. Residential street parking is available if you are adventurous, and there are several bike lock posts in front of the building on Bank street.
- OC Transpo services the Lansdowne TD Place stop (100m from the office) with routes 6 Greenboro, 7 Carleton, 6 Rockcliffe, and 7 St-Laurent. Rack N' Roll available for routes 6 Greenboro and 6 Rockcliffe.
