A Vancouver-born powerhouse now based in LA, Ekali is a genre-defying electronic music producer, DJ, and multi‑instrumentalist. Starting out as a classically-trained violinist and bassist for indie rock band Said the Whale, he turned heads in 2015 when Drake sampled his remix “Unfaith” on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Since then, he’s soared through the EDM world—joining Skrillex’s OWSLA label, releasing hits like “Babylon” (feat. Denzel Curry), “Blame” with ZHU, and debuting his album A World Away in 2020

Known for weaving aggressive trap drops with lush, downtempo melodies, Ekali has played Coachella and international festivals alike, collaborating with Illenium, Kiiara, Yuna, and K.Flay.
