English Comedy Zagreb

From July 16 to 26, visitors can enjoy daily performances by local and touring comedians in the unique setting of Guliver Bar on Opatovina.

The festival program includes special headliner nights, solo shows, and themed comedy performances.
The festival also features a series of workshops and masterclasses designed for anyone interested in learning more about the writing, performance, and production of stand-up comedy.
This year’s headline acts include American comedian Tamer Kattan, known for his appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and legendary comedy venues such as The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory, as well as April Macie, who audiences know from Netflix and the hit television competition Last Comic Standing.
Joining them are, among others, international guest comedians Oleg Denisov from Germany and Laura Lopez from Mexico, while the local stand-up scene will be represented by some of the region’s best-known performers, including Peđa Bajović and Igor Mondae.
A unique feature of this year’s edition is its international character, with performances in both English and Spanish, further reinforcing Zagreb Comedy Fest’s ambition to become one of the region’s leading gathering points for international stand-up comedy.
