Meet Streamzilla - The Central Data Streaming platform at Porsche AG

Abstract:
With Apache Kafka as the central component, the Streamzilla platform provides data streaming capabilities for product teams developing services both on-premise and in the cloud. It also enables easy and reliable communication between on-premise and cloud-based services, laying the ground for full migration to the cloud as a part of Porsche's "Cloud First" strategy. In this talk, you will learn about Streamzilla history, its high-level architecture, and our journey toward Streamzilla 2.0.

Streaming with ksqlDB

Abstract:
ksqlDB is the database purpose-built for stream processing applications. It is build on top of Apache Kafka, levereging all the good things Kafka has to offer. ksqlDB should greatly reduce operational complexity required to build stream processing applications. In this talk we'll explore how to make use of SQL-like queries, streams transformation, connectors and queries in building streaming application.
