Frontend Engineering @ Zalando

On Thursday 14th of March Zalando is holding an in person Meetup with a focus on Frontend Engineering in our Dublin office and we’d love to invite you to join us!

We will have two Zalando Engineers presenting on the evening, detailed below:

Moving to a Server Driven UI
In this talk we will look at the journey being taken in Zalando to build a system which provides server driven layouting capabilities. The talk will detail the process of moving an organisation from having display information on frontend clients to serving such data from backends.

Building Interpreters
In this talk, we will go through the different steps involved in building an interpreter for a simple programming language and how you can build an interpreter for your own programming language. The code for the host language will be in TypeScript.
