About the Event: Close the IDE, commit your changes, and join us for a Sunday session offline. We’re opening up the taproom at the Spice Yard for a relaxed afternoon of analogue gaming and racing.
Whether you’re looking to play some strategy games or just grab a pint and watch the race, this is a low-pressure hang to wrap up the weekend.
The Schedule:
- 13:00 - Board Games: We’ll have a collection of a few staples on the tables (think Catan, Bananagram, RummiKub, Chess, etc.), but we recommend bringing your own favourites if you want to get a specific table going.
- 15:00 - F1 Screening: We’ll be screening the Grand Prix live.
The Fuel:
- Beer: Fresh pours directly from our on-site micro-brewery.
- Food: Gourmet pizzas and Boerie rolls available all day.
Good to know:
- Parking: There is safe, underground parking at the Spice Yard (100 Voortrekker Road).
- Family Friendly: Kids and dogs are welcome, so you don’t need to leave the family behind.
