An Introduction to Micro Frontends using Module Federation in Webpack 5

This session provides an introduction to micro frontends using Module Federation, one of the most exciting features in Webpack 5, showcasing how this combination allows for the implementation of micro frontends without the need for external tools or libraries. Attendees will learn how to implement micro frontends as extensible plugins of an existing application, and how to leverage Webpack 5 and Module Federation to build modular, scalable, and maintainable micro frontends.
The presentation will include a demonstration of micro frontends using a mini application, showcasing the process of creating micro frontends that can be dynamically loaded and shared across applications and will highlight various implementation methods.
