Welcome to Pitch Your Friend Night & Singles' Mixer at the Dojo. Whether you’re trying to offload your brilliantly single roommate via a structured pitch deck or scanning the room for your cosmic twin flame, we’ve got you covered.
### The System Architecture (How the Night Flows)
#### Phase 1: The "Pitch Your Friend" Slide Deck Extravaganza
Forget slick venture capital pitches; tonight, you are pitching a much more volatile asset: your single friend.

  • The Rules: Pitches are strictly limited to 3 minutes. Show us their user persona, their bugs, their features, and why they deserve a high-valuation partner.
  • Critical Technical Spec: Bring your own pen drives (USB flash drives). Do not trust the cloud. Do not trust air-dropping. Have your PowerPoint or PDF presentation ready to plug straight into the Dojo’s projector system.

#### Phase 2: Karaoke Fundraiser
Once the pitch decks wrap up, we transition from slides to stage lights for a high-energy, open-mic karaoke fundraiser in support of HackerDojo!

  • The Execution: Belt out your favorite 90s throwbacks, early-2000s anthems, or guilty pleasure ballads. Whether you possess pitch-perfect vocals or pure chaotic stage presence, the mic is open.
  • Support the Dojo: Song requests, stage passes, and tip-jar boosts double as direct donations to keep HackerDojo’s non-profit community hackerspace thriving. Sing your heart out for a good cause—and maybe strike up a duet with someone whose slide deck caught your eye in Phase 1.
  • The Vibe: High encouragement, zero judgment. Duets and impromptu backup dancers are strongly rewarded.

### The LoveStar Protocol (Check-In & Matching)
We are bypassing standard human error and letting data handle the compatibility. For matching, we are using thelovestar.com or the newly released TheLoveStar mobile apps on the Google Play and iOS app stores.

  • Pre-Event Check-In: You must register and check into the event at thelovestar.com or via the mobile app before you arrive. The front desk at HackerDojo will check your status—entry will not be allowed without a completed mobile/web check-in. This unlocks your personalized compatibility dashboard for the night.
  • The Feedback Window: No awkward face-to-face rejections. You have a strict 4-hour window post-event to log back into your dashboard on the website or mobile app and select your matches.
  • Fast Compile Times: Get your results fast. Your verified mutual matches are calculated and emailed to you within 6 hours of the event's start time.

Come as You Are: This is a judgment-free, inclusive, and strictly open-source space.
