I’m the owner of the Sapporo Zen Map project, which aims to make Zen practice experiences more accessible for foreign visitors, and foreign residents in Sapporo.

I’m looking for people in Sapporo who are interested in Zen meditation and language exchange.
Right now, it’s just me—no fixed plan yet. My simple idea is:
🧘♂️ Join a Zen sitting meditation at a local temple
☕️ Afterward, relax in a café and practice languages (Japanese ⇄ English)
This year, I started attending meditation at temples and learning English for business communication. I’m still a beginner in both Zen and English, but I’m really excited to explore them with others.
Nothing is set in stone—we can create this community together.
