Zero Waste Christmas Party Social
Can you believe that we're just over a month away from Christmas?!! Well, to celebrate we’re having a zero waste social with a difference! Our Christmas party social will be a chance to and share your Zero Waste experiences from the year over a drink, meet other Zero Wasters, make new friends, and find out more about the different events we’ve got planned for 2019! We’re also going to have an arts and crafts table where you can sit around and make one-of-a-kind Christmas decoration for your home, or a unique, personalised Christmas card to give to a friend or family member! Bring along anything that you might have lying around at home or in the office that has any kinds of festive pictures, patterns, colours or design on it such old magazines, newspapers, flyers and even old Christmas cards! Scissors and glue (if you have any at home) will come in handy as well. We’ll be holding the event at the fantastic Love Shack bar and café near Bethnal Green - it is a really great, fun space, with drinks and delicious vegan food available throughout the evening. Whether you are just beginning to think about how to go Zero Waste, or a seasoned professional, everyone is welcome - we're a non-judgemental group of Londoners just looking to help & support each other in moving toward a brighter future. Plus, we’re delighted to say that Betsy’s Closet are going to be running an amazing Clothes Swapping segment. Here is all the information you need to participate in this swap: For hygienic reason and as a courtesy to your fellow swapper, wash all items. OUR MOTTO IS: bring the quality you expect to find! Betsy asks for £3 contribution to cover running costs We look forward to seeing you there! Lots of love Alex, Delia and Irene

    What we're about

Zero Waste London is a pioneering organiszation that organises and hosts and promotes zero waste events that take place in London. Zero Waste is a movement/philosophy that empowers people to adopt new behaviours in their home, work and social lives through which they minimise the amount of waste they produce and minimise the impact they have on the environment. The goal is to produce zero waste.

Our group is constantly growing and we welcome zero waste enthusiasts into our community every day. Zero waste related events are organized regularly, including a bi-monthly social, as well as talks, tours, film screenings and workshops. The group also supports and promotes a variety of zero waste events organised by other people and organisations.
