This data engineering meetup is about replacing data warehouse with data lakehouse. We will talk about the challenges and rewards of our work, technology we used (Azure Databricks), and everything in between.
We'll delve into the obstacles faced during migrations and the benefits of using delta lake to manage both structured and unstructured data. We'll prepare technical insights and you bring your questions for us.
Here is what we plan to do:

About the panelists:
Petra Martinjak is the team lead of the Advanced Data Analytics team at bonsai.tech. She has over five years of experience in the field. Initially, she focused on ETL processes and data analytics but has since expanded her expertise to building a big data platform.
Ivana Ćesić began her IT career in 2018 and has since advanced to a Senior Data Engineer role at bonsai.tech. With experience in databases, SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL tools, Ivana's current focus is on cloud data engineering, including data lake utilization, Spark processing, and the creation of scalable solutions.
Join us at the first-ever bonsai.tech meetup on Thursday, February 16th starting at 17:30 at the address Savska cesta 32 (1st floor). After the panel discussion, we, fellow data enthusiasts, will grab a drink, some food, and do some networking.
The meetup is primarily aimed at data engineers, but everyone is welcome. Also, the panel discussion will be in Croatian! 😊
