EmacsConf 2022 Day 1/2

EmacsConf is going strong in 2022 - it's a two-day (Dec 3 and 4), two-tracks conference.

We are also happy to announce that this year, as in 2019, we're going to have a physical venue in Switzerland where we can gather as a community, watch talks, hack all things Emacs, and have a good time together.

Our hosts will be Ardeo - the venue is their Coworking Hub in Luzern. The space is just a couple minutes from Luzern central station and features three rooms - one per track and a hacking/chillout space. Attending the conference is free (as in beer). Optional donations are welcome. For Ardeo, the Coworking Hub is central to the sharing economy and practising openness and transparency. As a driver for innovation, Ardeo is a long-standing partner of 200ok, the host of the official Swiss satellite of EmacsConf 2019. Phil and Alain from 200ok are co-hosting.

EmacsConf 2022 will be on Dec 3 (Sat) and Dec 4 (Sun), both from 3 pm-11 pm Zurich/CET.

EmacsConf 2022 will have two tracks. The General track will include talks about Emacs workflows and community resources, while the Development track will focus on technical topics. Even if you're new to Emacs and Emacs Lisp, you'll probably find lots of talks that can inspire and help you learn.

The spots at Ardeos Coworking Hub for EmacsConf 2022 are limited to 25. Hence, sign up early, and release your seat just as early if you cannot attend.
