Most of us live inside a constant stream of thinking – planning, worrying, remembering, imagining.
But what is thought?
Where does it come from, and why does it so often create conflict, fear, and division as well as creativity and beauty?

This meetup is an open, shared enquiry into the nature of thought.

This is not a lecture or a teaching session. There are no “experts” and no one giving answers. Instead, we will sit together as equals and explore questions such as:

  • What is thought actually doing in our daily lives?
  • Can we notice thought as it arises, without immediately believing or fighting it?
  • How does thought shape our sense of “me”, “you”, and “the world”?
  • Is there a space of awareness that is deeper or quieter than thought?

We will use simple formats like:

  • Short silent pauses to observe our own thinking
  • Open dialogue and sharing (speaking is always optional)
  • Gentle questions to look freshly, beyond our usual patterns

You are welcome exactly as you are.
You do not need any background in philosophy, psychology, meditation, or spirituality. The only requirement is a genuine interest in looking directly at your own experience, and a willingness to listen respectfully to others.

Who this is for:

  • Anyone curious about how their mind works
  • People feeling stuck in overthinking, inner conflict, or constant mental noise
  • Seekers who are drawn to self-enquiry and deep questions about life
  • Anyone who senses there might be another way of living than being driven by thought

What to bring:

  • An open mind
  • A willingness to listen and to explore without judgment

Let’s come together to look at thought gently, clearly, and honestly – and see what reveals itself when we do.
