NO SALES PITCHES; NO PRESSURE TO BUY; PURE DESIGN DISCUSSIONS

Today’s tech-savvy India falls in the category of modernism. This scenario witness man being so used to technology that he has almost neglected the potentials of nature. However, one has to realize that the innovations made by our ancestors ages ago, has made them the better lot. All of us sometimes feel that the society was better the way it was in the past. But on the other hand, this journey with a soaring graph of technology is inevitable because technology makes lives easier. The more the improvement in technology, more the products and more the branding. From a product owner’s view, in brand-building, it is very easy to get a customer to try something but very difficult to make it a habit. But what if there are ways to use products or materials we are already habituated with, cost-effective and sustainable also?

Lets consider our immediate surrounding- the interiors of our house: What if there are traditional solutions to air-condition your bedrooms or use the best stones around you to create better aesthetics than an expensive branded material can?

To achieve traditionalistic solutions amidst contemporary pressures requires basic guidance or research on vernacular materials available around you. Interior designers who work towards experimentation of different vernacular materials in interiors can guide us better than anyone else!
