Getting Started with ZIO

Abstract
ZIO is a next-generation library for asynchronous and concurrent programming in Scala. In this talk, Adam Fraser, one of the core contributors to ZIO, will walk through some of the key concepts behind ZIO and show how ZIO makes it easy to write highly parallel programs that never block and always efficiently use resources. He will also discuss best practices for migrating an existing application to ZIO and demonstrate how to do this step by step. If you’ve heard of ZIO but haven’t had the chance to work with it yet this is the perfect opportunity to get on board!
