What we’re about
This group has a rigorous purpose. To unite people against anti-semitism in it's most dangerous form, with the narrative, "Zionism is terrorism." Ever since October 7th, the divide against Israel is also a divide against truth and reality. As recently as 2022, progress was being made where Muslims around the world downloaded Waze not caring that it was Israeli, or caring that Mark Zuckerberg is Jewish. People on the left and right were cheering for the Abraham Accords. Now, with the war in Yemen, after the genocide in Darfur, global warming out of control and not getting better, the main way to sold world peace it seems for many, "end Israel's occupation."
This is the wakeup call for me. When someone asked me, "what is your ethnic background" and I told her "Jewish" I was just expecting a standard boilerplate response. Instead, the woman immediately responded with no shame asking me, "are you a Zionist!" I am a zionist, and I pretended I didn't know what the word means just to avoid conflict.
Now, let's change things in a different direction. Bottomline, stop the hatred towards Israel. Even if it without intent, the anger and hostility towards Israel is a threat against Jewish people.
There was a time recently where Muslims, without surprise, felt fear with nasty islamophobic rhetoric across the world. Which was and is still disgusting. Now, a group of 7 million people are against a world trying to brand Israeli's military as equivalent to Hitler and genocide with wink, winks, like, "Zionism is Terrorism."
. Especially now in it's most brutal and insidious forms. The most obvious example is, "Zionism is Terrorism" and the bullying and aggressive demonization of "Zionism" and mean spirited rhetoric misrepresenting Israel.
Really, the heart of the issue is the constant narrative that there are nuances and two sides to every issue. And the nastiness and divisiveness from the internet intruding into everyday life is no longer funny.
We will only have events at businesses that don't pander to the narrative in any shape or form, "Zionism is Terrorism." Our motto, if someone says "why are you supporting the genocide" ask them "what else do you know about Israel." "Long live the intifada" can mean many things to many people. That is what people said about the Buddhist symbol when waving a swastika.
This group goes beyond just supporting the fight against anti-semitism. It is the fight against toxic rhetoric in any shape or form. If you believe in this movement, then join this group. If you disagree with us, join this group, and be polite on the message forums. We are for free speech. Regardless of what you say and how you feel, Zionism is not terrorism.
