6th Annual New Year’s Day Polar Plunge @ Quail Creek - HIGH NOON!
Details
Dig Paddlesports, with Color Country Automotive of Hurricane, UT, and Rotary Club of Washington City present the 5th Annual Polar Plunge at Quail Creek State Park.
Jump in for a great cause; our Washington County Children's Justice Center is the beneficiary of our donations. Read about their function and mission here: www.cjcwc.com
Bring a change of clothes, your swimsuit (no skinny-dipping, thank you), and a good sense of humor. Prizes awarded for best costume, best jump, and random door prizes! Keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event. Keep it PG, folks. After last year... I shouldn't even have to type this $#!+m, but cover your bits and pieces!
You can choose: jump off the dock or enter from the ramp, then simply swim/walk out. No head-first diving. Cannonballs are accepted. :D
Cold immersion zone guided by cold exposure trainer Ryan Bean. See his Instagram here.
Hot beverage and pastry provided for all pre-registrants. Special thanks to River Rock Roasting Co. for their contribution every year.
Just $5 gets you the "Plunge" plus a door prize ticket. Each additional $5 donated gets you ANOTHER door prize ticket!
Park Entry
Park entrance is free for participants.
