Once in a Decade Event! Cave of Bad Judgment with waterfalls from the ceiling!

Details
This adventure is 10 years in the making, so if you can make it, it's a major win! If you missed the last time, for reasons unknown or if you had your little dog with you (you know who I mean!) come along for the adventure of a liftime! Just leave the litttle puppy at home...
(Just so you know, Indian Canyons charges $12.00 per person to enter.)
Okay, so this is one you would never have found on your own, so come along if you want a crazy adventure to a hidden cave with a creek flowing through and around it.
I have told a lot of people about this, even the employees at Indian Canyons, and no one seems to know about it...except for you and me! In fact, when I asked a couple of rangers on staff, they asked me how I found it. I told them I left the trail and went exploring amongst the giant boulders. "Alone?" they asked. I nodded and shrugged.
"That sounds like bad judgment to me" was all they said. So "The Cave of Bad Judgment" it is!
It is not very far, but we will be travelling slowly. Most of the time we will be climbing along a creek bed made up of fascinating rock formations. They are all the more impressive since they are made up of completely different types of rocks juxtaposed in a dazzling menagerie. The picture is right at the beginning of the xc route. Notice the totally different types or rock - I would love to learn about the geology of this area.
I have included a couple of recent pics when the creek was not flowing. They don't really do it justice, especially the cave, but you'll at least get some idea of what the area and the adventure are about.
NOTE: You must be nimble and able to climb up and around huge boulders, down through openings into empty space beneath the giant boulders, and maybe even crawl through a couple of slightly lower spots along a sandy floor. We will help each other to make it through, but you should come with good flexibility and reasonable climbing ability. None of it is technical, but it is far from walking along a flat trail.
We have had a great winter rain season so far and I just checked out the route Sunday, so it is legit! I will post a video on Tiktok if I can figure it out... but come along without seeing it and you will be amazed!
Total distance will only be about 3 miles round trip. The hike begins along a beautiful trail beneath a grove of tall, rather impressive palm trees. We soon leave the trail, and the adventure begins in earnest! After exploring along the creek bed and going through holes and up and over the rocks, we will finally come to the cave.
It is not a traditional cave, like a hole in the side of a mountain. Instead, the giant boulders, and I mean truly giant, have piled up over millennia and left gaps underneath that form a cave of sorts. You have to experience it yourself to appreciate it fully, I find it quite interesting and picturesque when the stream is flowing.
Your feet will definitely get wet since the creek is flowing, as you will HAVE to walk in the creek to get into the cave. Not to worry, it's not a long hike out, and you probably won't even notice the wet feet as we walk back, talking about what a crazy adventure we had.
We will be meeting at the trading post. We're not going on the little trail nearby, but we'll take a couple minutes to enjoy it! We'll lose cell reception once we go in, so this will be the best place to meet in case someone gets lost or needs to call or text me...feel free to do so: 909-213-6833.
If you end up on the wait list and I have hiked with you before, sign up and I will try to get you in. I hate wait lists and try to bring everyone I can. Some trips require a limit, but I'm tryin'!
