Intro to Zouk 5-week Series

Gabe Krause will be teaching a series of Zouk lessons with Julie Christy Hayes. The class is open to any dancer. But elements of Fusion similarities and comparisons will be integrated into this course. We are so excited to bring more Zouk to Humboldt!

Cost: Sliding scale with a suggested minimums of $5 for the class and $5 for the open dance.

Gabe has a degree in dance from HSU and has trained in Ballet, Modern, Tango, Blues, Fusion, and Zouk. He studied Brazillian Zouk in New York, Los Angeles, Australia, Thailand, and Vietnam. He has been teaching private Fusion lessons since 2017 and co-taught a Zouk course for the past year in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Julie has studied Zouk in San Francisco and Oakland. She has classic training as a professional ballet dancer, jazz, Latin and swing dancer. She has taught and danced salsa, and bachata for 15 years in Humboldt county.
