Talks
The hidden complexity of building medical software
Kristijan Ilić
Building software for a medical device may sound familiar at first: apps, APIs, backends, release plans, and architecture decisions. But once regulation, risk, multi-team integration, custom OS constraints, and market-specific requirements enter the picture, the “best” technical decision is no longer just the newest or cleanest one.
In this talk, Kristijan shares how medical software reshapes engineering trade-offs across architecture, releases, testing, and daily development — and why that pressure can make engineers better, not just more cautious.
Event-driven & scalable architecture with Azure
Vukan Čekić
Explore how to design and implement scalable, loosely coupled systems using Azure’s event-driven services.
This session covers core concepts such as asynchronous communication and message-based integration, with practical insights into tools like Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
