Networking Event Series - Artificial Intelligence
In September 2021 we would like to invite you to the conference 6th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Industry and Finance, hosted by the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Physics (IAMP) and the Institute of Data Analysis and Process Design (IDP) at the School of Engineering, and the Institute of Wealth & Asset Management (IWA) at the School of Management and Law of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur, Switzerland.

It is a true pleasure to organize this conference, which will now take place for the 6th year in a row. We are excited to host about 200 participants from Switzerland and Europe as well as 25 distinguished speakers both from academia and industry.

The conference brings together policymakers, academics, participants from finance and industry and it serves as a forum for interdisciplinary discussion and exchange of ideas on the adoption of innovative Artificial Intelligence technologies in industry and finance.

Keynote speaker: Dr. Alessandro Curioni, Director of the IBM Research Lab in Zurich

What will be the content of this conference?

The conference consists of four streams of presentations that focus on the following fields:

• Artificial Intelligence in Finance: Artificial Intelligence and Fintech challenges for the European banking and insurance industry.

• Artificial Intelligence in Industry: Artificial Intelligence challenges of European companies from the mechanical and electrical industry, but also life sciences.

• Ethical Questions in Artificial Intelligence: Issues arising in AI applications such as trust, explainability, neutrality, responsibility, moral consequences of algorithmic decisions.

• Integrated workshops on Innosuisse and general innovation promotion.
